Shape of HSL terminal between Kořenice and Bečváry will be determined by architectural competition
The competition is anonymous, single-phase and open. The architectural and technical design of the terminal must take into account the expected capacities of the railway transport service, but at the same time, emphasis will be placed on moderation, appropriateness and economic efficiency. The territory and constructions will be dealt with in two parts – design and conceptual.
“In the evaluation it will be essential how the designer copes with the requirement for a minimalistic form of the terminal, its sensitive integration into the surrounding landscape and the optimal solution for transport services,” says Jakub Bazgier, Director of High-Speed Lines Construction Management.
In the project part, the designer will develop not only the building of the terminal and its integration into the surrounding landscape, but also a car park, bus departure stands, taxi stands or a bicycle storage area. The conceptual part should then offer a solution for the functional and spatial use of the wider area, including technical infrastructure.
The new terminal will bring reliable and fast connections to Prague, Jihlava, Brno and other destinations, while at the same time allowing passengers to easily transfer between different modes of transport.Soubory ke stažení
